Providence Home is a 56-year-old ministry.
Providence Home is a faith-based transitional home currently housing 36 men and expanding to 63 men by Summer 2020. Most men arrive at Providence Home weary from prison, jail, alcohol/drug treatment programs, homeless shelters, or other unstable environments. Residents are not only provided basic needs, such as three meals a day, a safe place to live, dorm-like room, clothing closet, and laundry services, they are also provided a variety of holistic services that address root causes of poverty and help them seek change to realize their personal potential. In this structured, supportive environment, residents are expected to find a job.
Our mission is to help stabilize the living conditions of dislocated men and to encourage progress in realizing their full personal potential in self-sufficient living through the power of Jesus Christ.
