Kingsmen Baseball

On September 14, 2021
Kingsmen Baseball is a Christian baseball ministry headquartered in Rock Hill, SC that sponsors faith-based teams and takes coaches and players on mission trips.

The Mission of Kingsmen Baseball is
“To use the great game of baseball
to help young men:
  • Grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Become the best baseball players they can be.
  • Develop into men of character and integrity.”
Emmaus Road Partners has been a faithful teammate of our ministry. They have partnered with us through financial support, and more importantly, through prayer support. Their prayer team has been so faithful in praying for our ministry needs. If we have any type of need, we know they will be there to help however they can.

My good friend David Welch has been such a blessing to our ministry by serving on our Board of Directors. He has been an even greater blessing to me personally. He has been so helpful in sharing the wisdom he has gained through working in ministry most of his life. I am a better person and a better Christ-follower because of my friendship with David.

Joe Hudak

Founder and Head Coach of Kingsmen Baseball

Kingsmen Baseball is led by Founder and Head Coach, Joe Hudak. Prior to Kingsmen Baseball, Hudak served on staff with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Prior to FCA, he was a collegiate baseball coach for over 30 years, including 19 as Head Coach at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, SC. Coach Hudak is a 2018 inductee into the Winthrop University Athletics Hall of Fame.

Kingsmen Baseball presents the opportunity for college athletes to play highly competitive baseball while growing in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ for those who have a sincere devotion to Christ, but also for those exploring the opportunity of finding and growing in that relationship. The 2021 Kingsmen took life-changing mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Alaska where they competed against amateur and professional teams and served the local community by participating in service projects and baseball clinics.

During this trip, I have grown in all facets of my life including spiritually, socially, and culturally and I will do anything to continue to come back and give to these special people. I have enjoyed playing baseball and helping those in need along with spreading the Word of God.

I would like to thank Coach Hudak, Lincoln, Kiké, house helpers, and my teammates for making this trip something I will never forget, while ultimately become a better person in my faith because of their commitment to loving Jesus Christ.
